Every screen of the nutrition app our Raincity members use, in the order you meet it — and why it only shows you one number to start with.

Proton is the nutrition app our Raincity members use. It started life as a Softr build, and it now runs on Next.js with a Cloudflare Worker and Airtable behind it. I have never actually shown the thing, so here it is: all twenty-eight screens, in the order you meet them.

Everything in these screenshots is made-up data for an athlete who does not exist. Nobody's real food logs, weights or names appear anywhere below.

Finally moved to a full frame body as my primary shooter, so clearing out some of my less used lenses & bodies.

After years of using a crop sensor as my primary, and an old A7II body as my backup for events & full frame, I finally made the switch to a full fram A7CII as my primary lens, so time to cleanup and clear-out some of the less used pieces!

Will eventually get around to listing these on marketplace, everything is up for conversation or trade...

Sony E 16-55mm f/2.8 G — $999

Has been my daily driver for years - incredible lens and the go-to for majority of people shooting on a sony crop body. Not the latest model, so a lot more affordable than the newer options!

Constant f/2.8 across the whole range, no light lost as you zoom

Frames like a 24-82, which covers almost everything

The lens that lived on my a6400 for years... the one I'll actually miss

Serial 1813028, hood and (3d printed) caps included

Sony FE 24-50mm f/2.8 G — $899

Basically brand new, bought it when I got my full frame body but decided I should have sprung for the 24-70 since I don't mind the extra weight on my daily driver. This is a great option if you are looking for something a bit smaller / lighter (and much more affordable). Open to trades or combo if you want to pair this up with the A7ii body below.

Full frame f/2.8 in a shockingly small package

Weighs almost nothing in a bag

Sharp wide open

Sony E 15mm f/1.4 G — $639

A great quality and fun wide prime lens to shoot with. Great for anything indoor, low light, and super sharp with that 1.4 aperature.

Wide, fast, and TINY

f/1.4 eats low light for breakfast

Great for video and tight indoor spaces

My "one lens, don't want to think about it" lens for a while

Hood and caps included

Sony a7 II body — $600

My first full frame, still takes a lovely photo in 2026! Primarily used this as my secondary body when shooting at events. Older model, still works great and takes great photos - body is definitely used, but everything works great. Open to trades or combos.

24 megapixels, in-body stabilization

Cheapest honest way into full frame

Being straight: it's been USED. Grip and edges show wear. Everything works, nothing rattles, shutter count on request

Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 — $189

The classic first prime - a must have if you're shooting portraits or anything of the sort. Was my favorite prime lines before I started spending a lot more $$ on zooms.

Biggest jump in image quality a beginner can buy for the money

Everyone's first "whoa" photo comes from a fifty

Not a pro lens (autofocus hunts, soft wide open) but at this price who cares

a curated guide to affordable, locally-loved spots in japan. mobile-friendly, filterable, free (no paywall, no gatekeeping).

For those that don't know - Rebecca (aka rwu) is a biigggg foodie, and although she hates posting on or being on the internet, the work she put into researching every single meal of our trip to Japan was too good to gate keep!

Why #rwueats?

The only thing rwu might like as much as food? A good deal.

Eating with rwu isn't just about finding the best food in town (that's easy, and usually expensive) it's about finding the top rated locally recommended and affordable places to eat in town!

This doesn't mean every meal we had was cheap by any means, but it does mean that every great meal doesn't have to be expensive.

Why should you care?

Between rwus obsession with good deals on great food, and my obsession with spreadsheets, organization & technology we did two things;

Curated the best of and must-do food (and some other) items in Japan

Built a mobile friendly search & browsable web app for you to actually use & find them

This isn't just a blog post you scroll and forget, it's a web app you can save to your phone and utilize while you travel through Japan.

How do I use it?

Browse the whole list, or filter the food by place, price and rating

You can click to view more info including;

Store hours & locations / address

Whether you need a reso, can walk-in, or when to line up

a quick note from us on our experience there

Whenever possible we included a link to their website, instagram, or whatever page we used to find more information about them so you can too :)

Although we put this together for anyone to freely browse, use, and share - it did take a LOT of time to research and build and many bloggers will gate keep this type of thing behind a pay wall - but we're doing the opposite.

If you loved it and used it, we'd love you to let us know by making a small donation of $5-10 (or more if you're feeling generous). %100 of proceeds will go to feeding rwu more delicious food, which obviously we'll share with you!

The daily-carry tech that lives in the quickpack, from the female-to-female HDMI coupler to the MX Master.

Since I'm not doing as much of that exercise thing because #mykneeistoothor, I figured I'd share from my other side, #thorsabignerd.

I don't carry all this in my @ryu_apparel quickpack all the time, but it's a few pieces I got deals on over the years that i use almost daily at home or work - or keep ready to grab if going somewhere I may need one of them.

Most of these things can be bought on Amazon pretty cheap (especially on sale) or when on sale at most tech stores.... @amazonkindle Paperwhite.

Short HDMI cable + female to female coupler (guarantees you'll be able to connect to any device)

Generic Usb C to HDMI hub w/ a 64gb micro USB thumb drive in it (you can get both for about $15 each on sales)

Logitech MX Master 2s (links my home computer + office computer + laptop like they're one machine)

@google Chromecast + usb micro + apple wall usb plug (they're the best made)

@garmin Fenix 3 smartwatch (always on screen + 7 day battery life, only medium smart - which I like) + spare charger.

20,000 mAh battery pack + 6' braided usb C cable (about 4 full phone charges or more from that)

My personal and work @moleskine both with some random multi pen that I'm obsessed with. -

If you actually made it this far let me know if you have any questions or if this was useless af (it kept me from doing work for an hour so I'm happy either way 😂). #thorsabignerd
#nobodyevenpaidmetodothis
#amidoingitwrong
#thorneedstogetalife
#lookmomimatechbloggernow

#mykneeisthor
#mythorknee
#thordoestheexerciseandspamstheinternets just kidding.
